“[We] are dedicated to building an industry where every woman in VFX has the support, visibility and resources to rise.”
Talent has no gender, but opportunity does. The challenge isn’t capability, it’s access, recognition and opportunity. That is why the VFX Women Who Lead Committee is dedicated to building an industry where every woman in VFX has the support, visibility and resources to rise, whether she is leading today, beginning her journey tomorrow or still dreaming of joining the field.
The Visual Effects Society is proud to announce a global campaign to champion the women who lead the art and industry of visual effects. Chaired by Neishaw Ali, CEO of SPINVFX, the Committee stands for solidarity, visibility, growth and working toward systemic change. This multifaceted campaign will approach the mission on many fronts, including a social media awareness campaign, mentorship, webcasts, speaker series and more.
On September 4th, the first annual VFX Women Who Lead Summit 2026 will create space for VFX women from across the globe to share stories, build power and shape what the future of leadership looks like. Join us in person at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, California, or live streamed around the world. Program and speakers to follow.
The future of VFX is diverse. It’s inclusive and transformative. And it will be shaped by the women advancing the craft today and those who will carry it forward tomorrow. Because when VFX women thrive, the entire industry benefits.
